Daniel Devine

Dan is a Career Development Fellow in Comparative Politics at St Hilda’s College. Before joining Oxford, he was a Research Fellow on the TrustGov project, based at the University of Southampton. He finished his PhD at the University of Southampton in 2020. His research focuses on the causes and consequences of public opinion, particularly political trust, and on voting behaviour.

William Allen

I am a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow and non-stipendiary research fellow at Nuffield College. My current project, 'Do Facts Still Matter? Examining the Importance of Information for Migration Attitudes', combines computational media analysis, experiments, and counterfactual modelling of global survey data to consider how and for whom factual knowledge about migration matters for political behaviour.

Portia Roelofs

Dr Roelofs is an associate researcher at DPIR, where she is co-investigator on the John Fell Fund supported project "Management Consultants and New Frontiers of Governance in Nigeria" working with Prof Ricardo Soares de Oliveira. Her work sits at the intersection of politics, development studies and political theory.

Dominic Burbidge

Dr Dominic Burbidge is Lecturer in Politics in Regent's Park College, University of Oxford, and a Research Coordinator in the Faculty of Law. He previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Politics in Princeton University. Dr Burbidge additionally serves as Director of the Canterbury Institute.

Matteo Garavoglia

Matteo Garavoglia is Professor of Practice at the Department of International Relations and Research Director at the Center for China - EU Relations at Tsinghua University in Beijing. At the same time, he is also Research Associate at the University of Oxford’s Department of Politics and International Relations. His research work focuses on European integration, the European public sphere, European Union foreign policy and European Union - China relations.
