MPhil European Politics and Society

I am a current MPhil student in European Politics and Society focusing on European Foreign Policy. My research specifically analyses the motives of member states to deepen integration in foreign and defence policy.

Next to my studies, I serve as an Operations Officer for the Emerging Threats Group, where I moderate our weekly sessions covering the intersection of technology and security.

Previously, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a minor in Intelligence Studies from Leiden University. Furthermore, I have gained work experience at the Joint Planning and Command Staff of the German Federal Ministry of Defence, the Munich Security Conference, Deutsche Bank, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

My studies are generously funded by the German Academic Exchange Service and the Bertha von Suttner Stiftung. I am passionate about promoting equitable access to education by providing mentoring support to students and applicants.
