Sarah Glatte and Catherine De Vries win the 2014 MPSA Sophonisba Breckinridge Award

Congratulations to DPhil student Sarah Glatte and her supervisor Professor Catherine De Vries for their paper on "Women and Men from Different sides of the Wall: Gender Attitudes, Institutions, and Political Participation in Unified Germany", which has been selected as the recipient of the 2014 Sophonisba Breckinridge Award by the Midwest Political Science Association.

Sarah’s current research focuses on gender gaps in political participation in unified Germany.  Previously, she has also worked on transitional justice in East Germany and South Africa.
