Roopa Farooki publishes The Flying Man, her fifth novel,

Roopa Farooki, an Oxford PPE alumna, is publishing her novel The Flying Man in January 2012.

Published by Headline Review, The Flying Man is the story of the ultimate immigrant, a man who fits in everywhere and nowhere, following his life from privileged beginnings in Pakistan to relative poverty in modern day France.

This is Roopas fifth novel. She has been shortlisted for the Orange New Writers Award 2007, longlisted for the Orange Prize 2010 and longlisted for the Imac Dublin Literary Award 2011.
