Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism Awarded Funding from Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson
The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism has been awarded funding from the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for a research project on European Journalism.
The project will conduct a rigorous investigation of the differing journalistic cultures of Europe and an analysis of the possible emergence of a truly “European” journalism. It will also inquire into the existence and nature of a dominant model of journalism, and its effect on the development of the differing national cultures. The project provides support for a Research Fellow, Dr Henrik Ornebring.
