Professor Richard Caplan awarded grant funding for Measuring Peace Consolidation conference

Richard Caplan has been awarded grants from NATO, the OSCE, the Norwegian Peacebuilding Resource Centre (NOREF) and the Folke Bernadotte Academy in Stockholm in support of a conference he is convening at Wilton Park on Measuring Peace Consolidation.

The conference, which will take place on 15-17 October 2014, will bring together analysts and representatives of donor governments, multilateral organisations and NGOs to exchange knowledge and views on practices relating to the evaluation of progress towards achieving a sustainable peace in the context of peacebuilding operations. The conference is associated with Professor Caplans British Academy-funded research project on Measuring Peace Consolidation.
