Professor Iain McLean discovered that he had made an appearance in BBC Ones Outtake TV programme last Saturday. The programme, a repeat from last year, features a selection of outtakes and bloopers taken from a range of television programmes.
According to Iain, I did a live TV interview for BBC News last year some time about Scottish politics, in a screened-off corner of the BBC Oxford newsroom. The interviewer in London or Edinburgh asked a long complicated question that I couldnt hear in my earpiece. I had to ask her to ask it again, then I turned round and roared Will you shut up guys? I cant hear the question. The clip turned up in the Outtake TV show.
