Bernhard Ebbinghaus (Professor)

"It was helpful to discuss my paper in the CEE general seminar, in particular the comments by discussants and the Q&A with audience will help to revise the paper for final submission to a special issue of Transfer (ETUI Brussels).  I have worked on conceptualising a handbook on Welfare State Reform (under contract with Elgar). I had discussions with several members of CEE (Cyril Benoit, Nathalie Morel, Patrick Le Galès Bruno Palier, Cornelia Woll) and Emanuele Ferragina (OSC/Sciences Po)."

"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the OxPo exchange. It has tremendously enriched my experience as a Graduate Student at Oxford and has had a considerable impact on my doctoral research. I had the pleasure of attending the Sciences Po Graduate Conference. It proved an invaluable way of further familiarising myself with this literature and refining my engagement with, and critiques of, that tradition."

"I embarked upon my fellowship at Nuffield with three objectives: 1) to start working on a large research grant; 2) to push forward on several ongoing writing projects; 3) to establish contacts to local researchers and sow the seeds for future collaborations. I am very happy to say that I was able to make great progress in all three areas."

Tristan Boursier (PhD student):

"In spite of the health situation, the stay had an overall positive return in my doctoral journey. I was able to find an ideal framework for the writing of my thesis by using especially libraries. Online resources were very helpful in my research. During my stay I was able to meet researchers with whom I exchanged on my thesis subject."
