The major new scheme will support PhD and DPhils at the University of Oxford for black students
The University of Oxford has announced the Black Academic Futures programme, a major new PhD scholarship scheme for black and mixed-black students from the UK. With no limitation on the subject area these scholarships are available for DPhil applicants to the Department of Politics and International Relations.
The announcement of the scholarship is part of a campaign by the University and its colleges to increase the number of promising postgraduate students from under-represented groups at Oxford. Black Academic Futures will offer full scholarships for up to ten students from the UK applying to start DPhil/PhD study in 2021-22.
