Dr Tom Snijders obtains National Institute of Health (USA) grant

Tom Snijders obtained a grant of USD 700,000 from the National Institutes of Health (USA), as part of the larger research project Adolescent Peer Social Network Dynamics and Problem Behavior (principal investigator Dr. John Light, Oregon Research Institute), for reprogramming and improving the SIENA program.
This program implements a methodology for the analysis of longitudinal network data, and is also used for analyzing the interdependent dynamics of relational networks and changing individual attributes (which may be a measure for behavioral tendencies, performance, attitudes, etc.).The grant is for the period 2008-2013.
