Dr Gwendolyn Sasse discusses protests in Ukraine

Gwen Sasse has appeared on the On Point with Tom Ashbrook show (4 December) on Bostons 90.9 WBUR NPR News Radio station in the United States, discussing the current unrest in Ukraine.

In the programme she mentions that there are many similarities with Ukraines Orange Revolution of 9 years go: some of the same key figures are involved, for example. But there are also some key differences, such as a more violent aspect and less of a clear cut sense of what those opposing the government are aiming to achieve.
