Dr Ainius Lasas comments on Lithuanian elections
Ainius Lasas was quoted in a Bloomberg article on Lithuanian elections entitled Lithuania Votes as Austerity Upshot Points to Cabinet Ouster (14 October).
Ainius noted that a new coalition government may not deviate as far from the current government as expected. The left-of-center parties wont go through with their rather populist promises, for objective reasons and because they wont have enough power to make it happen, he said. It will all be blamed on the coalition.
