Dr Adam Swift has been awarded an AHRC Fellowship for Family Values: A Liberal Egalitarian Theory of the Family for the period from 1 January to 30 June 2011.
The Fellowship will enable him to revise for publication the manuscript of a book, co-authored with Harry Brighouse (Department of Philosophy, Wisconsin-Madison), to be published by Princeton University Press. The project develops an account of the value of familial relationships and uses it to explore issues such as parents rights to shape their childrens values, and to bestow advantage on their children.
