Dapo Akande comments on the death of Gaddafi

Date
Dapo Akande was quoted on BBC Radio Oxford on 20 October, offering comment about the death of former Libyan head of state Muammar Gaddafi.

It definitely brings one chapter to a close, Dapo said, So we definitely do know that the Gaddafi regime is over. I think the prospects of him coming back have always been slim, but the doors on that have firmly shut and its quite likely that supporters of Gaddafi are also going to take that as a sign that the game is up.

Dapo also commented on the BBC News Channel the following day, on Gaddafis death, and whether he should have stood trial.

Dapo Akande is Co-Director of the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict.
