Viviane Spitzhofer is a visiting PhD student from Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE), Sciences Po Paris. Her current research looks at national and regional dispersal of refugees and asylum seekers in European member states. Viviane Spitzhofer studied at Freie Universität Berlin, at Université Libre de Bruxelles and at Sciences Po Paris, where she focused on comparative politics, international migration and local/regional integration. Before joining Sciences Po, CEE, she worked as a policy analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on the local dimension- and multi-level-governance of migrant integration in European cities. Ms Spitzhofer also worked as a civil servant and policy advisor for the commissioner for migration and integration of the Berlin Senate.
