Tiffany Chan
Zenobia Chan (Nuffield)
Tiffany is an MPhil International Relations student at St Hugh's College, University of Oxford. Her research interests include international political economy and international economic law (trade, investment, and labour), focusing on China and East Asia. Her research is covering geoeconomic dimensions of trade and investment treaties and investor-state dispute settlements with multinational enterprises. The Rotary Global Grant fully funds her research.
Prior to studying at Oxford, she graduated with two Honors Bachelors degrees in political science and economics at the University of Utah Honors College. During her undergraduate studies, she was involved as a national collegiate speech and debate competitor, undergraduate politics journal editor, undergraduate political forum host, student fellow at Utah's preeminent public policy and economics institute, and student body vice president. Outside of her studies, she had previously worked for the Utah Governor's Office of Budget & Planning as a research analyst fellow, Sorenson Impact Institute as an impact strategy fellow, and Goldman Sachs as a global compliance analyst.
At Oxford, she is a research assistant and is involved with the International Relations Society and the Diplomatic Society.
