Rebecca is Research Compliance Lead within the Research Facilitation team, responsible for overseeing the post-award management of the department's portfolio of research grants. She is currently seconded from the Finance Team where she has worked since joining the department in October 2015. Prior to joining the University she worked in the Museum sector and as an Archaeologist.

Responsibilities

responsibilities within the Research Facilitation team include, but are not limited to:

  • Post-award management - overseeing the financial management of specific awards whilst retaining oversight of awards managed by other members of the team
  • Liaising with funders regarding request for changes to current awards
  • ensuring compliance with funder terms and conditions and University regulations
  • Management of the Research Support Fund

 

Office hours

I work part time across five days:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays: 9.30 am - 3.15pm working from home
  • Wednesdays: 9.15am - 3.30pm working from home
  • Thursdays and Fridays: 8.15am - 3.30pm working in the office
