My DPhil with DPIR focuses on the role of religious actors in official negotiations, specifically in Northern Ireland, Colombia and South Africa with the goal of applying it in Israel/Palestine. Prior to studying at Oxford, I spent five years with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) as the Policy & Research Analyst for the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. I helped organise the Evidence Summit on Strategic Religious Engagement (SRE) with academics, non-profits and government representatives; co-authored research articles; and led policy drafting, publishing and implementation efforts for an evidence-based policy on SRE. I also drafted a learning agenda to organise researching efforts, managed external contracts to finalise reports and represented USAID at weekly White House meetings and international conferences in Bologna, Italy; New York, NY and Marrakesh, Morocco.

I have a Masters in International Relations and International Economics, with a focus in Conflict Management, from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). I also received my Bachelor of Arts from the Johns Hopkins University in International Studies and History with a minor in Jewish Studies.
