Sciences Po Visiting Professorships 2010-11: Call for applications - Reminder

Within the framework of the Oxford-Sciences Po Research Group in the Social Sciences (OXPO), Sciences Po wishes to host two Oxford fellows for one month each as Visiting Professors in the social and political sciences. The invitation is for one month as best suits the applicant to be taken up before the end of July each year. It is anticipated that up to two fellowships will be awarded each academic year.

The next deadline for applications is 8 March 2010.

Requirements of the Professorship

Sciences Po will ask the applicant to present a paper in one of Sciences Po`s seminar series. Papers must relate to OXPO’s research (see http://oxpo.politics.ox.ac.uk/projects/index.asp), either linking to existing programmes within OXPO or exploring the possibility for new collaboration with members of Sciences Po. Applicants should ensure that they have applied for research leave from their Department before making an application.

Expenses

Sciences Po will provide €3,300 to €4,100 for the month for expenses associated with the visit (including travel and accommodation). Accommodation will not be provided but housing services at Sciences Po can assist the successful applicant in finding something suitable.
