Professor Rana Mitter discusses Oxfords links to China

As Oxfords China Centre and Ashmolean Museum presented a night celebrating Chinese culture, Rana Mitter was interviewed by BBC Oxfords Kat Orman (22 April) on the long history linking China and Oxford.

Rana notes, 400 years ago [] the first Chinese books came to the Bodleian library... [We have] a very long tradition of engagement between the University and China that continues to this day Were building right now in North Oxford the biggest centre for the study of China anywhere in Europe.
