Professor Ngaire Woods was quoted in a China Daily article by Zhang Chunyan and Zhang Haizhou, 8 March, p.6. Ngaire is quoted as saying that Chinas biggest change [...] in the next few years is the transformation of made in China [...] In the future, made in China will be like made in Italy in the fashion industry. Her comments were cited as evidence of an expectation that Chinas export profile will soon shift from a goods-driven to a value-added model.
