Professor Michael Freeden Awarded John Fell OUP Research Fund Grant

Professor Michael Freeden has been awarded a John Fell OUP Research Fund Grant to support the Centre for Political Ideologies` three-year project ‘The comparative study of political thought`.

The new project of the Centre for Political Ideologies (CPI) aims to integrate the study and analysis of non-Western modes of political thought into the regular canon of research into, and the teaching of, political theory; and it intends to explore and develop new methodologies-currently non-existent-for comparing political thinking.

Professor Michael Freeden is Professor of Politics at the Department of Politics and International Relations; Director of the Centre for Political Ideologies, and a Professorial Fellow, Mansfield College.
