Politics in Spires blog wins OxTalent award

The Politics in Spires blog editorial team has won its second OxTalent award, presented at a red carpet event at the Universitys IT Services yesterday. The annual OxTALENT competition, run by IT Services, celebrates and rewards the innovative use of digital technologies to enhance teaching, learning, research and outreach at the University.


The team won years award in the category Open Practices for its Workshop on Academic Blogging: Political Analysis in the Digital Age, which was held in DPIR in February 2014. The event set out to create an opportunity for a wider audience to learn about the world of academic blogging, understand current trends, and gain insight and advice from expert practitioners and commentators.
