Paul Chaisty and Ricardo Soares de Oliveira receive Recognition of Distinction

We are delighted to announce that Paul Chaisty and Ricardo Soares de Oliveira have been included in the University of Oxford's 2018 Recognition of Distinction Awards, which confers the title of full Professor and recognises distinguished contributions and excellent records in both research and teaching, as well as service to the wider University. 

Paul Chaisty, Professor of Russian and East European Politics, researches legislative, party and interest group politics in the former Soviet Union; political attitudes in Russia and Ukraine; and post-Soviet nationalism.

Ricardo Soares de Oliveira, Professor of the International Politics of Africa, researches African politics (particularly West and Central Africa); the geopolitics of energy; and international political economy.
