Oxford/Sciences Po Visitor Schemes: Call for applications closes 25 March 2012

The Oxford-Sciences Po Research Group in the Social Sciences (OXPO) is accepting applications from members of the Department to visit Sciences Po in the academic year 2012/2013.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 25 March 2012.

Oxford Visiting Professorships at Sciences Po

OXPO is a meeting point for social science scholars in Oxford and at Sciences Po, who work on the comparative analysis of the evolution of political systems and societies, in Europe and beyond. It coordinates various comparative research projects that contribute to this goal and offers various opportunities to develop new ones. Within the framework of OXPO, Sciences Po offers every year two visiting professorships to established post holders in the sociology, international relations and political science.

The invitation is for one month as best suits the applicant to be taken up during the academic year (between September and July). Sciences Po will provide 3,300 to 4,100 for the month for expenses associated with the visit (including travel and accommodation). Accommodation will not be provided but housing services at Sciences Po can assist the successful applicant in finding something suitable.

Students selected for the scheme may be able to apply for funding through Erasmus agreements between the two institutions.

The deadline to apply for the academic year 2012-13 is 25 March 2012 but applications to be hosted for short stays (a few weeks to a term) can be sent at any time.
