Nuffield College research unit advises Scottish Parliament

Iain McLean and Jim Gallagher, of the Gwilym Gibbon Unit for Public Policy, Nuffield College, formed one of the five groups of academics invited, at very short notice, to advise the Scottish Parliament on whether it should give legislative consent to the UK Parliament’s Scotland Bill.

This is a major step in the transfer of fiscal responsibility to the Scottish Parliament.
