Katerina Tertytchnaya awarded a Fulbright-Schuman pre-doctoral fellowship

Congratulations to Katerina Tertytchnaya, who has been awarded a Fulbright-Schuman pre-doctoral fellowship to conduct research at Columbia University in New York.  Hosted by Professor Tim Frye, Katerina will research how economic sanctions affected domestic politics and presidential approval in Russia.  The Fulbright-Schuman Program is jointly financed by the U.S. State Department and the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission.

Katerina Tertytchnaya is a final-year DPhil candidate in Politics.  Her DPhil dissertation studies how contemporary electoral autocracies manage public opinion.  Her dissertation is supervised by Professors Ben Ansell and Catherine de Vries.
