Jonathan Leader Maynard comments on proposed bombings in Syria

Jonathan Leader Maynard, Departmental Lecturer in International Relations, was interviewed on BBC Radio Oxford on Friday 27th November, offering his comments on the proposal that the UK join air strikes on ISIS in Syria.

He comments, "The real debate is not about the military effect that we are going to have... The question is a more symbolic one... It is more about how Britain should signal it's cooperation and resolve".
