John Lloyd witnesses the Anti-Mursi protests in Egypt

John Lloyd has written an article for Reuters (1 July) on the protests against President Mursi in Egypt, which he joined as a journalist.

"It was one of the biggest, best coordinated protests of our times," he writes, "much larger than those that swept out Mubarak. Reuters quoted a military source who estimated as many as 14 million turned out countrywide."
