John Lloyd on what David Cameron was thinking when he authorised the Leveson Inquiry

Date

John Lloyd appeared on the Phil Gayle show for BBC Radio Oxford (14 June), briefly commenting on the Leveson Inquiry.

He authorised the Inquiry, he said, possibly not knowing that it would quite soon lap up against the door of 10 Downing Street. The reason its doing so is that he was at least as deeply implicated in the relationship with Rupert Murdoch as any previous prime minister.
