Jan Zielonka on the Brexit Counter-Revolution and the Future of Liberalism

Jan Zielonka tells Sky News that Brexit is a counter-revolution against the pillars of liberal order in Europe.

Speaking after the publication of his latest book, 'Counter-Revolution: Liberal Europe in Retreat', Professor Zielonka told Sky's Political Editor, Adam Boulton, that Brexit is part of the same phenomena which is evolving across the whole of Europe; a questioning of the central tenets of liberalism, from liberal democracy and free trade to human rights and multi-culturalism.  He warned that European leaders must question why they are losing one of the Union's most important members.
