Global Economic Governance Programme receives Ford Foundation grant

Date

Oxford`s Global Economic Governance Programme (GEG) has just received a grant from the Ford Foundation to extend its research in how global governance arrangements could better meet the most urgent needs and priorities of people in developing countries in three particular areas: finance, intellectual property, and trade. In each area, the Programme will bring to bear its distinctive approach, building on networks of policy-makers and researchers the Programme has already established, to conduct research, to influence the agenda of other academic research, and to contribute to public policy debates.

The work will be led by Professor Ngaire Woods, GEG`s Director, and Dr Carolyn Deere, who directs its global trade governance project.
