Dr Stephen Fisher’s latest predictions for the UK General Election

Stephen Fisher’s predictions for the upcoming General Election are once again making the news.

The Sunday Times quotes him as saying that “both Labour and Conservatives are polling not far from their 2010 vote shares — there is little reason to expect much swing back for either party.”  The article is available to Times subscribers here: http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/comment/columns/adamboulton/article1537012.ece

Stephen also appeared on BBC Radio Scotland FM to discuss his latest assessment of the likely outcome, in terms of both share of vote and of number of MPs, of May’s general election.  You can listen to the programme here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05nv8l9 (32.51 on clock)

Stephen's research was also quoted in The Economist (4 April), which can be read here: http://www.economist.com/news/britain/21647662-britains-mainstream-politicians-cannot-scare-voters-so-they-had-better-start-impressing
