Dr. Shane Mac Giollabhui awarded Research Grant from the British Academy

Congratulations to Dr. Shane Mac Giollabhui who has been awarded a research grant from the British Academy for his project, Engineering Democracy: Voting Rules and Political Behaviour in Botswana for the period 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013.

This project will produce an in-depth study of the electoral determinants of political behavior in an African democracy. The primary objective is to stimulate a long-term link between the Department of Politics and International Relations (University of Oxford) and the Department of History (University of Botswana).
