Dr Scott Blinder offers comment on what the 2011 Census says about immigration
With the release of data from the 2011 UK Census by the Office of National Statistics, Scott Blinder's views as Deputy Director of the Migration Observatory have been much in demand.
On 11 December he appeared in BBC2's 'Newsnight' (4m 10s), Sky News Online, BBC Radio WM and BBC Radio Leeds. The following day he appeared in The Daily Express, The Times, The Times (Ireland) and The Australian. Much of the media attention has focused on the Census data's suggestion that in London people who are caucasian and of British descent are now in the minority.
