Dr Scott Blinder on non-European unskilled migration to the UK
Scott Blinder was quoted in a French-language article in Les Echos (08 March, 2012) on measures being taken by the UK government to reduce net immigration to tens of thousands of people a year.
The article suggests that the coalition governments policy of selective immigration means that immigration to the UK is reserved for the rich. Scott said that it is impossible for unskilled non-Europeans to migrate to the United Kingdom to work.
