Sara Hobolt is this years winner of the APSA Elections, Public Opinion and Voting Behavior sections emerging scholar award. She is awarded the prize jointly with Cindy Kam.
The award is given to the scholar within 10 years of completing his or her Ph.D., who has made the greatest contribution to the field of elections, public opinion and voting behaviour. Dr Hobolt is the first winner of the award who is based outside the US. The award ceremony will take place at the 2011 APSA annual meeting in Seattle in September.
