Dr Marwa Daoudy comments on formation of a new Syrian opposition coalition

Marwa Daoudy discussed the significance of a new agreement amongst Syrias opposition groups to create a united front on BBCs Newshour (12 November).

Marwa noted that the new platform addresses long-standing concerns that the Syrian opposition is leaderless, divided, and not representative enough, and commented that this is quite a positive step on paper [but] we will have to see how this will be effectively implemented in the future.
