Dr Jonathan Leader Maynard discusses more armed officers in the London Metropolitan Police
Jonathan Leader Maynard has appeared on BBC Radio Oxford (14 January) to discuss the Metropolitan Police’s announcement that it is to increase the number of armed officers in response to the terror threat.
When asked what the response of a potential terrorist might be to this news, Jonathan said, "I don't think it would make them less likely to commit an attack. I think it probably might make them likely to reconsider what sort of attack they might plan."
