Dr Hugo Slim interviewed by the International Committee of the Red Cross on humanitarian principles

Hugo Slim has been interviewed for an In Conversation With video series by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), marking the 150th anniversary of the organisation.

Hugo talks about the importance of applying the humanitarian principles of impartiality and neutrality to secure access. In particular he discusses the dilemma of crossing borders to reach people in need when permission to do so has been denied. He also talks about ethical and legal issues raised by emerging forms of warfare such as cyber attacks.
