Dr Hadland awarded British Academy Visiting Fellowship at the Reuters Institute

The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism will welcome Dr Andrian Hadland as visiting fellow for Michaelmas Term 2009.

Dr Hadland was awarded a British Academy Visiting Fellowship to carry out research at the Reuters Institute.

Dr Hadland acquired his PhD in 2007 from the University of Cape Town where he completed his thesis on the South African print media. He gained his Masters degree in politics from St Catherine`s College, Oxford, in 1990. At the Reuters Institute, Dr Hadland is undertaking research into the relationship between media, state and civil society with a particular view to South-Africa.
