Dr Alexandra Delano appointed Acting Chair of Global Studies for the Global Studies Program at The New School

Congratulations to Dr Alexandra Delano (MPhil International Relations, 2005, and DPhil International Relations, 2008) who was appointed Acting Chair of Global Studies for the Global Studies Program at The New School for Social Research, New York, for 2013.

Her book, Mexico and Its Diaspora in the United States: Policies of Emigration since 1848 (Cambridge University Press) was also named co-winner for the William LeoGrande Prize for the best book on US-Latin America Relations. The book will be published in Spanish in 2014 (El Colegio de Mexico).
