Bassam Gergi discusses Egypt on Australias ABC Radio National
Bassam Gergi, a MPhil Politics student, was interviewed by Australias ABC Radio National on the political transition underway in Egypt.
Bassams comments focused on the question of whether Egypts transition is more likely to follow the path of Turkey, where an Islamist government has moderated its policies and won re-election, or Algeria, where Islamists were forced out of government after winning election, sparking a long civil war.
