Alexander Hamilton publishes new book Understanding Policy Change: How to Apply Political Economy Concepts in Practice

Date

Alexander Hamilton, a recent DPIR alumnus (DPhil Politics 2012), has co-authored a new book on how the social and political context in which decision-makers find themselves affects their ability to realize their policy goals.

The book provides the reader with the full panoply of political economy tools and concepts necessary to understand, analyse, and integrate how political and social factors may facilitate or inhibit specific reform agendas and projects. It is an essential tool for researchers, graduate students, and policy practitioners interested in understanding, the what, the why and the how of policy reform.

The book was published by the World Bank Institute, and is available for purchase from Amazon here.
