Harassment Advice
DPIR does not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying and expects all members of the Department community, its visitors and contractors to treat each other with respect, courtesy and consideration.
Policies & Procedures
Policies & Procedures
We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality, values diversity and maintains a working, learning and social environment in which the rights and dignity of all members of the Department community are respected.
DPIR operates under the University of Oxford’s Policy and Procedure on Harassment, which also contains information and advice on seeking support for a matter relating to harassment. You can also refer to the Harassment Procedure flowchart for University Staff [pdf] and Harassment Procedure flowchart for Students [pdf].
If you need to speak with someone, you can either:
- talk to your manager,
- contact the department's Harassment Advisors (find their details on the Academic Office Holders list),
- or contact harassment.line@admin.ox.ac.uk to confidentially speak to someone outside of your department.
Other sources of support include, for students, the Oxford SU Student Advice Service and Sexual Harassment and Violence Support Service.
