The eminent political scientist and historian, Vernon Bogdanor CBE FBA, will be discussing his new book, “The Strange Survival of Liberal Britain: Politics and Power before the First World War”, as well as his life and career. Professor Bogdanor is one of Britain's foremost constitutional experts and a frequent adviser to governments and parliamentary bodies, and contributor on TV, radio and in the press. He has written widely on government and politics, including “Devolution in the United Kingdom", "The New British Constitution", "Beyond Brexit: Towards a British Constitution", and the book of his Stimson lectures at Yale, "Britain and Europe in a Troubled World".
